Nothing makes you think about life like death.
A good friend of mine lost her boyfriend. He was the same age as my husband.
The death was accidental, and tragic. Yet she said she could feel something coming.
What if you could feel something coming?
I’m not trying to be morbid, but what if you knew? Would you be doing anything differently? There’s that saying: Live every day as if it were your last, and even Steve Jobs said it, “For the past 33 years I’ve looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” For me, this puts everything in a different perspective.
No one should be afraid of death. They should only be afraid of not living their life the way they want to live it. And no one should be afraid to love either. With love always comes loss, but that is just part of the cycle of life.
