“Reading Sex, Life & Hannah. 13 HOURS with Mr. Smyth? Is that auto-biographical? And how do you deal with the soreness? Love these books! READ THEM FOLKS!” – Ross Jeffries

“Oh my goodness I read the books as soon as I got home. I love them!!!! Thanks for the invite to the book club meeting, I had a blast!!!!” – Michelle Nguyen

“Just wanted to say that I read your new book straight through tonight and it was amazing. After reading it, I’m very amped up about it. It’s even better than I imagined. And it’s even better than the first book. Loved the ending.” – Erika Icon

“I love everything you write…” – Jennifer Tate

“I love how the second book goes deeper into Hannah’s character and explores those relationship heartbreaks that all women experience: The One That Never Was; The One That Got Away; The Man We Hate to Love; and The Steamy Secret Lover. Hannah has it all, in a well-developed, yet still playful and humorous, romantic package! ” – Jennifer Thomas

“The Spring Season is a seamless continuation of Hannah’s adventures and search for love.  From the first page, we’re right back alongside her, sharing the haughty hijinks, entwining twists of fate, and intimate reflections. With deepening backstories and a deepening consciousness, we find ourselves once again inextricably pulling for Hannah in her quest to find love, and herself.” – Scott Frazelle

“The Spring Season continues to surprise and delight, as we romp along with Hannah’s single precocious lifestyle. It’s funny, sexy, emotional; and I appreciate the elements of fashion, work, and partying added into the mix. The book parallels the relationship journey of many women I know, as they fall passionately and put everything into each man they see, whether he deserves their love or not. I feel you can learn a lot observing Hannah from a distance.” – Tiffany Davis-Rustam

Not only does Ms. Skrzypek manage to create a wonderfully accurate depiction of the single, and fabulous life of a girl experiencing all that Los Angeles has to offer, I would like to know how the hell she managed to put my life experiences, as well as every one of my girlfriends, on paper so accurately? – Brenee Davis

Hannah is the fantastically conflicted woman-in-progress who lives inside me, and any other woman I’ve ever come in contact with. Turning the pages of the Sex, Life, & Hannah Winter Season was like turning the pages of my own love life — the nights I cried myself to sleep over a break-up with The Ex, the constant losing battle with the “call” button on my cellphone, the convenient yet barely-satisfying rebounds, the ice cream, the whole shebang. I dare you to try to put down Sex, Life, & Hannah. Dorota Skryzpek’s writing is so insightful and nuanced; she captures the complexities of the female psyche beautifully. I’m willing to bet that the next time your man mutters, “I just don’t know what’s going on in your head,” you’ll hand him one of these books. But please, try and resist the urge to chuck it at his head. – Jenni Perez

Thank you so much for the gift, I couldnt ask for anything better, I couldnt put it down…I loved it, I can’t wait for the 2nd one… – Gigi Pogosyan

Well I have to say I enjoyed the first book, read it at JT’s around 1:00 AM after the bars. Lots of parallels: Hotel Exec, relationship gone weird, girls throwing things – including themselves – open ending, thus… close to my life, without… unfortunately, Hannah and a nice Martini. – Stephen Beck

Sex, Life, & Hannah, by Dorota Skrzypek, is one of the most refreshing and original books you will come across. It offers an insightful look at relationships, sexuality, and personal growth. You will become addicted to all the lust, love, sex, and heartache! – Joael Harbi

The characters and their stories are stylized for fun, but genuine. There is a kind of joy in reliving your own past through their adventures. This book is a bit of a guide to turning some of life’s painful experiences into fond remembrances. – Scott Frazelle

Reading Sex, Life & Hannah was like hanging out with my favorite single friend – you know, the one who dishes on all the dirty details! Always available when I need her, and always a good time! – Tawnia King

I liked the slight neuroticism – it reminded me of me, and I really enjoyed reading about Hannah’s relationship with Ben, which made me laugh out loud. Poor Ben…who hasn’t been there, and will never be able to get there…What will Hannah do next… – Leslie Gunder

Sex, Life, & Hannah…is an exceptional and exhilarating journey through the mind of a woman. Guys and gals, if you want to understand the mysteries and intricacies of how women think, this book is a godsend! It kicks ass over the new Indiana Jones movie – what a ride! – Larry Sara

Love the book, can’t wait for the second part to come out. Enjoyed the wonderful book event too! – Rachelle Ammar

The book dictates the thoughts women truly think!! I was laughing hysterically, out loud, by myself. Sex, Life and Hannah is an easy read and can serve as a great pick me up. It can appeal to both men and women….It is fun and flirty…you can truly flip it open anywhere and immediately find yourself intrigued. You do not have to read it sequentially to appreciate it!!!! Can’t wait for the next one :) – Sarah Rinnah

Like every single and fabulous girl we seem to have in our posse, Hannah manages to evoke empathy, frustration, anger and excitement. You’ll find yourself cheering that she eventually finds her man. . .and has several excruciatingly amazing orgasms on the way, compliments of several excruciatingly amazing hot men. . . . – Star Grumman

I read the first book and absolutely enjoyed it. The writing style is very energetic, punchy, eloquent, raw, and overall quite entertaining. It’s edgy, modern and feisty. The pace is extremely inviting and the story flows in a sort of stream-of-consciousness style that kept me wanting to read more. – Mona Elyafi

Sex, Life, & Hannah is an honest, modern expression about dating and dealing with relationships. Creative in both writing style and artistic design, I found myself shocked by the activities I later realized I had participated in when I was young. It’s a wonderful new take on novel writing. – Jeffery Kincaellan

Delectably gritty and unashamed, Sex, Life, and Hannah is a fun and frank look into the mind, and heart, of the modern American single woman. Amidst the perils of the professional workplace, the rawness of the dating scene, and with sheer emotional honesty, Hannah compels us to join her in her quest for redemption, satisfaction, and most of all, love. – Scout Rogers

I’m obsessed with Sex, Life, & Hannah! I took it on the plane with me, started reading it, and couldn’t put it down – and I don’t read. Usually when I read I think about veggie burgers, or what I’m going to wear the next day. But Sex, Life, & Hannah kept me so entertained. I read it, and re-read it. I thought it was amazing, colorful, and well-written. I like books that give a lot of detail about every inch that’s going on. When I read it, I had this vibrant vision of who Hannah was. I felt like I knew her, like she was my BFF. The book keeps you intrigued. You want to know what Hannah’s sex life will be like, and who the next man will be in her life. I can’t wait for the next book to come out. I’d like to see it turn into a TV show…and play her sister. – Holly King

A perfect light sexy breezy summer read. Perfect for kicking back at the beach or pool with a frozen margarita! – Scott D.

This book is witty, bold, and sexy – the perfect blend of lighthearted reading and hard-hitting themes. It also might teach you a thing or two about sex! – Jennifer Thomas

Every girl in L.A. can find something in common with Hannah… – Eveline

It’s a page-turner! It’s easy to read; not a big long novel, but it keeps you involved. There are a lot of things that one can relate to. I like a lot of the insights made by Hannah at the end of each chapter, especially the one at the end of the Valentine’s Day chapter. Hannah reminisces about how Valentine’s Day is supposed to be this big thing, and you build up all these expectations, but in reality, big nights happen when you least expect them to, and some of the ones that are supposed to be big nights don’t really come to fruition. I think we can all relate to that. – Laura Larson

I really liked it! The stories were very witty and engaging. I liked it a lot. I can’t wait for the next volume. – Erika Icon

What’s great about this book is how free it is with its discussions of important sexual topics. Many times sex gets swept under the rug because it’s seen as risqué or people don’t want to admit their own sexuality. This book brings light and insight to common situations that girls and guys go through, and reflects upon many parts of life that people experience as they explore their adulthood. – Tiffany Davis-Rustam

You know I loved the book! I spent an hour talking about your book on my show. I felt connected and involved. And I was involved enough that I wanted to know more. I’m ready for the next one. Bring it on! - Gina Hendrix

The set up and graphics were just like a magazine, I loved it. It reminded me a bit of the show “Just Shoot Me”, where they had the show topics laid out on a magazine cover. The content was catchy, kept things moving. – Hernando Chaves

Really?!? Get me all addicted to this Hannah character and leave me hanging!?! I read it on Sunday night cover to cover…What a cliffhanger! Good book! – Dawn Parker-Waites

This is an innovative and appealing little book of fiction with the appearance of a high-quality glossy magazine replete with photos and illustrations. The theme of sexual relationships runs throughout the book, but it is actually about more than sex. It truly is about life in broader terms than just sex through an honest, sensitive, and intelligent investigation of the human heart. As titillating and provocative as the captions and illustrations are, there are moments of real poignancy: “No one wants to be alone, not even Jack; maybe that’s what having a rebound is really all about. Whether we’re motivated by obsession, depression, desperation, or deprivation, we want companionship–in the bathtub, on the phone, at dinner… or bent over the side of the bed, faking an orgasm.” This book has wit, charm, pathos, and passion. A beautifully produced book. – Writer’s Digest 16th Annual International Self-Published Book Awards

I was given a copy of your Hannah book… Not only did I get hooked and left hanging wanting to read the next installment but I got a friend wrapped up in it as well… Will there be another addition to this story? Or will I have to forever wonder what ever happened to Hannah and the crazy world she lives in of friends, sex, and men?? – Autumn

Love the book and hearing great reviews…I can’t wait for the next one!!! - Mary Taylor

I am so completely TEAM: SMYTH. That being said – I loved how you ended the first book with such open-ended suspense.  Is Hannah okay? And how the hell did The Ex show up at the scene? (She should just remember her relationship with the Ex smells like the shirt – lacking in nostalgia/ full of mildew.) What mayhem will Hannah’s sister bring?  I found myself thoroughly engaged, embarrassingly reminiscent and completely entertained! – Corrie Shenigo
