We are in the midst of summer, which means bikini weather, and extra pressure to look smooth, tanned, and always freshly shaven. So I decided to take the plunge. A plunge I last took ten years ago with a gay man. I got a Brazilian wax.
Let me start off by saying, this is not for the faint of heart. Anyone that says the first time doesn’t…sting, is lying. Remember Alexis on Dynasty? She was the bitchy one opposite that perfect chick with the blond hair, Krystle. I remember watching the reruns when I was like 12 and wondering…could I ever pull off a hat like that? So I found it kinda funny when me and my friend Nikki stumbled upon this booth at the Art & Wine festival in Walnut Creek this weekend.

This girl is effin’ awesome. You know when you meet someone and you just click, you feel like you’ve known them for years, the conversation flows…this is my new friend Sasha Jones. And I love her name. In fact I might steal that name for a new character in the next Sex, Life, & Hannah book.
